Does iPhone 12 support eSIM?
Yes, iPhone 12 supports eSIM. The exception is Chinese versions (A2404, A2172): they do not have eSIM, only two physical SIM cards.

Models A2404 and A2172 (China) — without eSIM. Hong Kong and carrier versions (for example, some AT&T, Verizon) may have restrictions on changing carriers. Before purchasing, check the model number: Settings → General → About → Model Number.
