How to Add eSIM to Samsung Galaxy: Step-by-Step Instructions

```html
📱 What is eSIM and why
eSIM is a built-in SIM card that you don't need to insert physically. You receive a QR code or activation code from your operator and load the profile directly into your phone. Convenient for travel, a second number, or replacing your main card.
eSIM is supported by: Samsung Galaxy S21–S24, Z Fold 3–6, Z Flip 3–6, A54, A55 and a number of other models.
🔧 Step-by-step instructions
  1. Open Settings → Connections.
  2. Tap SIM Card Manager.
  3. Select Add eSIM or Add plan.
  4. Tap Scan QR code — scan the code from your operator.
  5. If there is no QR code — select Enter code manually and enter the activation code.
  6. Confirm the profile download and wait for activation (up to 2 minutes).
  7. Set the profile name and choose which functions to use eSIM for: calls, SMS, internet.
⚠️ Common mistakes
  • "Add eSIM" is not in the menu — your model does not support eSIM or the firmware is outdated. Update One UI.
  • QR code won't scan — print the code or ask your operator to send it to another device.
  • Activation error — check your internet connection and make sure the code hasn't been used before.
  • eSIM doesn't work abroad — clarify roaming restrictions for the profile with your operator.
💡 Helpful tip
Check your device's EID — the unique identifier of your eSIM chip. Dial *#06# on the call screen. The EID will appear in the list along with the IMEI. You will need it when purchasing eSIM from some operators.
